Doug Shields has been actively involved in the transportation industry for two decades. His first experience in trucking was as a driver for A. Joseph Transport out of Jackson, MS. Since then he has been involved in many other aspects of trucking including managing a full service truck center offering tires and related services as well as working directly for manufacturers such as Volvo Trucks of North America.

For the past ten years Doug has been actively engaged in the sale of used trucks. His is a solution based sales approach. His philosophy: "If I don't solve a problem then I haven't earned my paycheck. My clients come to me with problems and it is up to me to offer viable real world solutions to help them and their families prosper."

Doug is actively working as a transportation consultant to fleets as well as owner operators. His primary business is buying and selling used commercial trucks. He brings to the table his "power team" including truck finance advisers, insurance experts, accounting experts dealing specifically with the trucking industry, and interstate/intrastate authority experts.

"My strongest point is the quality people that I have around me. When I'm just working from "me" then I can only bring so much to the table. However when I have a team of experts at my disposal I become much more valuable to my clients." It's hard to argue with that point of view!
